Professional Experience Mr.Maingot serves as Senior Partner of TeamNAFTA.com and has extensive experience in Mexico's real estate and maquila industry as well as throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Rex had been Director for Latin America for Binswanger prior to his current appointment.Rex has lived in Mexico for over 30 years and has been an independent consultant and maquila plant manager with General Electric and held marketing director positions both with a major industrial developer in Cd. Juarez and a shelter / subcontracting operation in Chihuahua City. Prior to that, he held manufacturing, engineering, and senior management positions with American Motors/Jeep and Dana Corporation in Mexico City. Achievements Rex's track record of deals done encompasses over 5 million square feet of mostly industrial space in Mexico and Latin America, the most outstanding being the site search and construction for a 70,000 square foot office building for BP/Amoco in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, the disposition of the landmark Kodak complex in Caracas, Venezuela, a 250,000 square foot BTS for Packard Electric in Cd. Juarez, the sale lease-back of the 850,000 SF Kimball de Juarez complex, and a shelter operation for General Dynamics in Chihuahua City for the production of wire harnesses for the F16 jet fighter. Rex has received best speaker certificates for his graphic presentations on the maquila industry in Mexico and overviews of opportunities in Latin America from IDRC, the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico and Manufacturing in Mexico. He is the Honorary British Consul at Cd. Juarez. Education Rex majored in automotive engineering in the U.K. He is a graduate of the D-1 Advanced Management Program of the IPADE (Pan American Institute for Management in Mexico City), which is the Mexican equivalent of Harvard University's Advanced Management Program.
