In 1996, Michael G. White founded the El Paso, Texas / Ciudad Juarez MexicoSiteSelection office. Over the past 9 years, the office has actively been involved with manufacturing in Mexico. Two years later, in 1998, Mike decided to strengthen the office’s capabilities by using its experience and contacts derived over years of work in Mexico to build an information center for existing and potential clients. TeamNAFTA.com was born with the realization that real estate is typically the last issue addressed in the exploration of manufacturing opportunities in Mexico. Before taking the decision to move operations into Mexico, companies wanted to have a better understanding on wages, suppliers, utility costs, etc. Today, our online database reflects the combination of all our knowledge and experience in Mexico. The site now holds the most thorough information on the maquiladora industry and is becoming one of the main sources of information for companies that are considering starting or expanding operations in Mexico. |
